Founded by former Google product leader Shreenath Regunathan, Starlight was created to bridge the gap between families in need and over $100 billion in government benefits that go unclaimed each year. With deep experience in data, technology, the benefits landscape, and systems design, our team set out to reimagine how financial institutions—especially credit unions—can support members through life’s most vulnerable moments.

Starlight partners with financial institutions to proactively connect their members to financial assistance. Our white-labeled platform offers fast, dignified access to public benefits with no burden on staff, helping members unlock thousands of dollars in support in as little as three minutes. In doing so, we help credit unions live out their “people helping people” ethos—strengthening trust, deepening engagement, and delivering measurable community impact.
